Hey! I'm Jongwook (Eric) Lee, currently a senior CS student at the University of Maryland and was previously a Software Engineer Intern at Viva Republica (Toss).

At Toss, I built a RAG-powered Slack assistant that helps 3,500+ employees search across 12,000+ IT support cases, combining hybrid search with a tuned reranking pipeline to surface the answers that actually solve the problem.

While stationed at Camp Humphreys as a Provost Marshal Interpreter, I built a JavaScript tool that cut Korean criminal record translation from 3 days to 3 hours, still the standard process at the Provost Marshal Office and Korean National Police today. I also served as the sole Korean-English interpreter for a U.S. Army Colonel and led a team of 10 KATUSA soldiers.
